After one week almost “rotting” at home, finally today I’m returning at work. Not that I like working so much (I’m no workaholic); but having your blood & sweat hard-earned annual leave being deducted (we have shut-down) to sit at home is absolutely NO NO fun at all. After Baby Jo recovered, it was Zo’s turn to fall sick. She had missed school for 3 days on the last week before CNY and we even had to bring her to the doc on the 2nd night of CNY due to her worsening cough and fluctuating fever. The extremely hot and humid weather is not helping at all; hence we had spent most of the CNY holidays rotting at home. Thank God she is recovering well despite still a bit of cough but most importantly no more fever. I’m seriously very very phobia with “cough” after all the agonies we had gone through.
Today Zo and all her schoolmates will be wearing their own CNY clothes to school in conjunction with this auspicious occasion. This is actually the 2nd year the school is celebrating CNY this way. In order to make the day more ‘special”, I just had to do at least one CNY theme bento since I know I had been really lacking of late. {blush blush} For religious reason, we do not “believe nor promote” the “dragon” sign so I think it would be more “appropriate” to make a “Chinadoll” (representing Zo) to wish all her teachers & friends (and of course you too) 恭贺新禧,万事如意!!!
