Hello good Tuesday everyone! How was your weekend? I actually flew down to KL to meet hubby on Fri night as we had a function to attend on Sat morning. Then we drove back together on Sat evening. Everyone was thinking I went there to attend the rally. LOL! But honestly, if I could leave the girls with MIL for longer (can’t do so as MIL is not “indepenadant” and she deosn’t have any transport in case of emergency), I would (attend the rally). This was the first time both hubby and I were away same time leaving the girls behind with MIL alone since Zo’s birth and the first time Baby Jo sleeps without mummy since her birth. We called back on Fri night and Sat morning to check on them and were pleased to know that they behaved & coped well. But, I was “welcomed” by an “angry baby” (crossed hands, head down with a “HHHMM” and walked away to hid behind the sofa) upon returned. :{ But she was back to her normal self in no time after I pulled out all the “souvenirs”. That’s my “drama queen”! LOL!
I bought a lot of snacks during the short trip from Mark&Spencer and Lavender Bakery as hubby is off again for another (yes, I knew he just returned) week so I would want to save myself from going “insane” with all the rushing and juggling. My company was off yesterday for replacement holiday for the governors’ birthday which fell on last Sat. But I literally spent my off day on the road driving around the island running errands and looking for parking! Ish!
These are the 2 simple and speedy bento I packed for Zo. Yesterday was a peanut dorayaki from Lavender in the new Disney Princess box I got from the trip.
Today she requested for the raspberry puffs from M&S. we just loves M&S’s cookies. And this trip, I think I spent the most in M&S food section. Hahaha.

I also pack the raspberry puff on days where I don't feel like packing bento! :P
I miss the lemon puffs that M&S used to bring in. Don't know why they stop selling lemon puffs.
You drove around in KL during that time? I just sat at home with the kids, because had nightmare stuck in the traffic for 2 hours plus on Friday night going home from office! :)
Angeleyes: I'm almost a "single mum" this whole month. So really don't hv the time for fancy bentos.
Peony: I had not come across the lemon puff here either. But we lurvss their puffs.
KDW: Didn't go near KL area as it was blocked. We had a close friend's ROM to attend in the morning so we just stayed in PJ & Damansara area. But traffic was a complete breeze leading to MV with ample parking. :p
