I was supposed to make a “white angry bird” bento for Zo yesterday. But on Tue night, I was hit by a sudden food poisoning attack. I had literally spent most of my evening shuttling between the washroom and the bed. So the doc gave me a day of MC yesterday which I spent half of it sleeping. As for Zo’s bento, I only managed to pack her a plain boiled egg and edamame with some fruits. Very pathetic because even the edamame was over boiled. Though I felt a lot better today but I still feel some cramps and giddiness due to the medications.
I had learnt from this mama a creative way to use the Lunch Punch recently. I do not have the time to “decorate” them so nicely like her so I just made used of the Miffy cutters and punch to make a speedy one. I tried to toast “Miffy” to give it some tan but I don’t know why, the tan only shown on the back and not the front. Weird hor? To give some “colour” to the sammie, I had put a pink ribbon pick on Miffy. And this made me wonder, is Miffy actually a male or female? Hmm…
Oh ya, if you spotted something “new” in the box; yeah, there’s some new comers in 100Yen Sunshine Farlim. I popped by there yesterday afternoon to get some groceries and saw some new picks and boxes on the shelves. But I think I really had to stop buying anymore boxes but they are sure darn cute wor….itchy itchy hands…. So all you bento mamas in Penang, maybe you can start to plan a trip down there ya!
