Hi there everyone! Have not been posting any updates for the past few days because of laziness. LOL! Actually I was down with a bad course of gastric attack again on Fri night. Then hubby also got it on Sat night with a fever too. At the end, it completely spoilt our weekend and Father’s Day celebration. As hubby will only leave for his trip after he visited the doc and a meeting in the office, I do not need to prepare him any on-the-road bento. So I took the opportunity to make a simple fruits bento for Zo on Mon. Weather had been really crazy lately and with so many people falling sick, I just had to boost her immunities with more fruits and water. Yesterday she wanted mini-cuppies for her bento hence; there was no update as well.
It had been quite a long while since I made rice onigiri for Zo and since today is her PE day, I thought it would be just nice to make her a rice bento which will be more filling and gives her more energy. The teachers are in the mist of selecting the members for the sports team for the upcoming sports day, so Zo definitely needs all the energy she could get to sustain her.
I had made her a Pooh rice onigiri with meatfloss and mayo filling. There are some plum wedges and strawberries to go with it. With ample left-over rice, I had also made 2 Mickey & Minnie rice onigiries each to share with my colleagues in the office. Of course, they love them to bits. Oh, and I have also used this very sweet and cute new bento box which was a gift from this great bento pal.
